F Series: CNC boring and sleeving machines
Direct heirs of the Rottler boring bar that has set the industry standard for more than 100 years, the F Series machines are the new generation of engine boring. From the in-line 4-cylinder block to the large industrial diesel, the F Series covers every need of the shop: fully automatic cylinder-to-cylinder boring, sleeving with cuts of up to 5 mm on the diameter, programmable counterboring and multi-pass CNC surfacing on the F10XS.
Start the cycle and move on to something else: the machine centers automatically, bores to the programmed depth, tilts the head to clear the tool and returns to position, with no operator intervention.

Precision-ground ball screws: positioning repeatability of 0.005 mm, boring depth programmable to 2.5 microns. Continuous spindle load monitoring with automatic stop on overload.
Full automation
Programmable “Point and Shoot” cycles: servo-driven automatic centering, hole-to-hole boring, unlimited programs in memory. A V8 block bored and surfaced in 30 minutes flat.
Rigidity
One-piece heat-treated and stabilized cast iron base, chrome-plated spindle: heavy sleeving cuts in a single pass, for decades.
Ease of use
Intuitive touch-screen control: spindle position displayed in real time, an operation programmed in minutes. Remote assistance: technicians can connect directly to the machine over the network.
The F Series models.
Automatic hole-to-hole CNC boring and multi-pass surfacing to programmed depth. Boring range 38 to 230 mm, blocks up to 15 liters (Cummins ISX type) in a compact footprint. Surface finishes down to 0.3 micron on cylinder heads.
82.5 mm spindle for extra-heavy machining up to 230 mm bore. Designed for large diesel blocks (Cummins 855, Detroit 12V71, Mercedes V12) as well as special jobs: housings, connecting rods, oversize parts.
The reference machine for automotive blocks up to big block V8s and small diesels. Boring range 38 to 127 mm. The fastest and most powerful solution for a general machine shop.

Before you choose.
What is the difference between the F9A, F10A and F10XS?
F9A: automotive blocks and small diesels, boring from 38 to 127 mm, the reference boring machine for the general shop. F10A: 82.5 mm spindle, boring up to 230 mm, large diesel blocks and special jobs. F10XS: the F10A with automatic hole-to-hole CNC boring and multi-pass surfacing.
Can the F Series sleeve?
Yes: sleeving with cuts of up to 5 mm on the diameter and programmable counterboring, on all three models.
Do I need to know how to program?
No. Touch-screen control and “Point and Shoot” cycles: automatic centering, boring, tool clearance and return to position. An operation is programmed in minutes, and we train the operator at commissioning.
