Valve seat and guide machines

Machining a valve seat means making it concentric to the guide. The SG Series machines center on the guide with a UNIPILOT carbide pilot and cut the seat angles with multi-angle carbide inserts: the sealing and the service life of the cylinder head depend on it.

From the precision manual model to the programmable guide-to-guide centers, including for the large heads of heavy-duty engines: the method does not change, only the level of automation and the capacity do.
